Patients must present their Bupa membership card when participating in their appointment. As the only supplier of Bupa Members platinum in Cannon Hill, our patients pay nothing out of pocket for preventive treatments such as check-ups, cleanses and most routine screening x-rays. In addition, for most treatments, you will receive between 60 and 100%*. However, this depends on your coverage rate and annual limits that you need to confirm with Bupa. If you are covered by the hospital and extras, we may be able to provide « seamless » dental care to your children for most treatments, so you don`t have expenses for your children if they are covered by certain policies. This applies until the age of 25. Please note that most other dentists are not part of the Bupa Members First Platinum supplier network and therefore you may have much higher fees out of pocket. For full details, visit www.bupa.com.au Eligible Bupa Platinum Dental patients must have hospital coverage in combination with additional coverage that includes general dental care. It is recommended that patients bring their Bupa card to their appointment to request it. According to the Bupa agreement, annual limits and restrictions apply. For more information, click here – Bupa Members First Platinum Dental Protection. Bupa members with extra coverages can get extra value and security through a known fee if they visit a Members First provider.

In addition, they can generally expect higher quantitative benefits, discounts and up to 100% return, and at least 60% return to certain services (subject to the amount of additional member coverage, annual limits and waiting times may apply). The offer is only available at LifeCare Dental for Bupa members with combined hospital and extras coverage that includes general dental care. If the service paid by Bupa for the indicated regular check-up items is less than 60% of the member`s first charge, the patient must pay a discrepancy, so that the fee collected by LifeCare Dental corresponds to 60% of the member`s first tax. Good oral hygiene, routine checkups, and professional cleanings are all important to reduce your family`s (and your family`s) risk of dental problems. And since your dental health affects your overall well-being, we want to make prevention easier for you. We also charge NO GAP for all your examinations, cleanings and preventive treatments if you are with any health fund. For more information, check out our No Gap offer. Patients must mention the « Bupa offer » when agreeing to the appointment. It is not necessary to pay the full cost of advice in advance and wait for your service to be reimbursed days or weeks later. Once your entitlement has been approved by the local health fund, you only pay the amount of the difference – the difference between the full fee for treatment and the amount requested by your health insurance. . .
